The statutory minimum wage applies to all employees in Germany. It applies regardless of the scope of work and the nationality of the employees. It therefore also applies to marginally employed persons (so-called mini-jobbers) seasonal workers and foreign employees if they work in Germany. They are entitled to the minimum wage regardless of whether they are employed by a domestic or a foreign employer.
