Minimum wages in changing labour markets - Mindestlöhne in sich verändernden Arbeitsmärkten
Zweiter internationaler Workshop am 7. und 8. November 2024 in Berlin.
Im Fokus des Workshops stand die aktuelle Forschung zu den Effekten von Mindestlöhnen in sich verändernden Arbeitsmärkten mit zunehmender Arbeitskräfteknappheit.
Dabei wurden Erkenntnisse aus Deutschland und anderen EU-Mitgliedstaaten, den USA wie auch Großbritannien in den Blick genommen.
Den Auftakt der Veranstaltung bildete ein Keynote-Vortrag des renommierten Mindestlohnforschers Stephen Machin, Professor und Direktor am Centre for Economic Performance, London School of Economics and Political Science. Für eine Keynote am zweiten Workshoptag konnte Prof. Dr. Christian Dustmann, Professor und Direktor am Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration, University College London, sowie Direktor der Rockwool Foundation Berlin, gewonnen werden.
