Five years Minimum Wage Commission – review and outlook
The Minimum Wage Commission began its work in 2015. Its first term of office came to an end at the end of 2019. The Minimum Wage Commission took this opportunity to review its work and discuss the outlook for its next term.
On 13th November 2019 a panel discussion was held at Futurium in Berlin-Mitte, bringing together stakeholders from politics, business, interest groups, academia, ministries, administration, and the media to join members of the Minimum Wage Commission in examining the impact of the statutory minimum wage since its introduction and the work of the Commission over the past five years.
