Dr. Arne Baumann

Head of the Coordination and Information Office

Dr. Arne Baumann studied political science, economics and law at the universities of Passau and Vienna. He received his PhD from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. His prior work experience includes working as a researcher at the Max-Planck-Institute for the Study of Societies in Cologne, as an advisor for labour market policy in the German Bundestag and as a labour market specialist for the European Training Foundation in Turin, an agency of the European Union.

PD_Dr Ralf Himmelreicher

Senior Scientist

Dr. Ralf Himmelreicher studied economics and social sciences at the Free University Berlin. He received his PhD in Economics from University of Bremen, Centre for Social Policy. He set up and managed the Research Data Centre (FDZ-RV) of the German Federal Pension Insurance (Deutsche Rentenversicherung) in Berlin. He currently serves as an Associate Professor (Privatdozent) at the Free University Berlin.

Dr. Clemens Ohlert

Research Associate

Dr. Clemens Ohlert studied social sciences at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and the American University Washington, D.C. He received his Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Hamburg. His prior work experience includes working as a researcher at the Institute for Employment Research, Nuremberg, the School of Economics and Law Berlin and the Humboldt University Berlin.

Juliane Pehla

Research Associate

Juliane Pehla studied sociology at the universities of Göttingen and Potsdam. Her prior work experience includes working as a researcher at the Chair of Quantitative Methods in Educational Sciences at the University of Potsdam and at the research group "National Educational Panel Study" at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center. Before joining the Coordination and Information Office for the Minimum Wage, she worked as a senior project manager at a social research institute.

Susanne Bühler

Public relations

Susanne Bühler studied communication science at the University of Hohenheim, specialising in political science, journalism and public relations. After working as Head of Communications in a medium-sized company, as a consultant in a PR agency and as deputy press officer for a parliamentary group in the German Bundestag, she most recently worked as a marketing officer for a political foundation.
